Time-honored edible treats in Montilla include Las Alcachofas Guisadas, Los Riñones Al Montilla, La Naranja Picada, El Picadillo De Tomate, Los Pies De Cerdo Estofados, El Salmorejo and El Gazpacho Blanco. Most of these specialties are made up of fresh veggies lusciously cooked in olive oil, a major component of most Cordoba dishes, and is also manufactured in huge quantities in Montilla.

The nuns of Santa Clara Convent prepare and sell biscuits in different varieties such as mostachones, galletas, suspiros, roscos lustrados, magdalenas, tocinitos and brazos de gitano.

Of course, not to be forgotten are the very symbol of Montilla, the finest world-class wines, aged to perfection in the cellars to come up with a great tasting drink. Montilla cellars boast off their Fino (pale dry), Amontillado, Oloroso (medium dry), and the sweetest wine in the world, the Pedro Ximenez.
