Montilla |

Montilla is a village that is famous all over the world for its wine of the same name. In this village, there are infinite country sides of grape vines to support its renowned wine industry. They produce the well-loved, dry white wine which is manufactured in the same solera method when producing sherry. The incredibly sweet Pedro Ximenez grapes are used for the wine. In Spain, the wine is known as just Montilla in honor of the town s name but in other places, the wine is called Amontillado.
When visiting Montilla, you can always pre arrange an itinerary to go inside a few of the wine cellars.
